STAGING NEW PLAYS BY NEW WRITERS

John Retallack, Director of Oxford Playwriting, has been mentoring emerging playwrights to bring their original works to life through Platform Performances at The Old Fire Station. We need your help to ensure emerging voices in theatre are heard.

Since 2022, nine successful Platform Performances have attracted audiences and glowing reviews, with professional actors delivering engaging, script-in-hand performances:

With tickets priced at just £11, covering production costs is challenging. We have over a dozen playwrights whose voices deserve to be heard. Please help us bring their work to life on stage.
